Cookies and browser storage
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of information that help a website remember settings or understand how it is used. InquireQRC, trading as GradGuide (“GradGuide”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses browser storage for practical website functions and, where you allow it, for analytics. This policy covers the public marketing website at gradguide.co.za and www.gradguide.co.za.
Necessary storage
Necessary storage supports functions the website needs to operate or remember your choices. This includes saving your cookie preferences in local storage and remembering whether the launch-week popup has already been shown during the current browser session. Necessary functionality cannot be disabled where it is required for site operation.
The website may also use session storage to retain permitted campaign attribution between pages so that it can be included with a form submission. This does not store form contact details.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is configured for the website using measurement ID G-VHLJRE6KR7. Analytics storage is denied by default until you choose Analytics in Cookie preferences. When enabled, analytics helps GradGuide understand non-identifying website context, such as pages or tools viewed, audience category, selected-tool count and CTA location.
Names, email addresses, WhatsApp numbers, organisation names, institution names and message text from website forms are not sent to Google Analytics.
Advertising
Advertising storage is separate from Analytics and is denied by default. LinkedIn campaign UTM parameters may be present in website links and may be retained for the current browser session as attribution. No LinkedIn Insight Tag is currently installed because a Partner ID has not been supplied.
GradGuide may introduce consent-gated advertising technologies in future. If it does, this policy and the Cookie preferences interface will be updated before the technology is used.
UTM campaign attribution
Where a page URL includes limited UTM campaign values, such as source, medium, campaign, content or term, the website may retain them for the browser session and include them with a related website form submission. These values help GradGuide understand campaign origin. Please do not place personal or research information in UTM values.
How to change your choices
You can reopen at any time from the footer and choose Analytics or Advertising, or keep only necessary storage. You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and browser storage. Blocking some storage may affect how the website remembers your choices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or its consent choices change. The current version will always be available on this page. For more about website form information, read the Privacy Policy.
